Fans including Olwstice Games have created a 2D rendition of the highly anticipated platformer Yooka-Laylee titled Tooka-Laydee. The Tooka-Laydee trailer above tells a fictional story about how an intern at Playtonic Games accidently spends £2,000,000 on Tetley tea bags, in turn causing Yooka-Laylee a few cutbacks including 3D to 2D. Tooka-Laydee can be played on Kongregate.
Do you think this fan made title will suffice until the release of Yooka-Laylee? What’s your opinion on fan made content? Should it be allowed or does it impede on the owner’s creative rights? Join the hype in the comments below.
