Today, Bethesda Softworks revealed details about the Evil Within’s first set of expansion DLC set to release March 10th on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
In The Assignment, players will take the role of Juli Kidman, played by Dexter’s Jennifer Carpenter, to uncover where she was during the events of the Evil Within’s main timeframe.
Other than an all new playable character, the DLC also introduces new creatures, puzzles and various items for the player to discover. The Assignment is the first installment of Kidman’s adventure, and The Consequence will be released in the near future and will reveal “Kidman’s hidden motivations and her mysterious connection to Mobius, the shadowy group thought to be behind the gruesome events of The Evil Within.”
The Assignment and The Consequence will be bundled in a season pass for $20, as well as the third expansion DLC, The Executioner. If you’d rather get these expansions separately, they will retail for $10 an expansion.
